Hello. Whether you came here intentionally or just happened upon this blog, welcome. My name is Kelly, and I am a healthy, happy eater*. I have not always been such; in fact my journey to sanity with food is young but I feel like I’ve been preparing for it all of my forty-plus years.
For most of my life, I have been overfed and undernourished … a child of my times, subsisting on fast food, sugary drinks, and sweet and salty junk food. The summer of 2010 has been an awakening for me. I am eating real food, moving my body at Camp Gladiator bootcamp and sleeping better than I have in a decade.

*When I say I’m a healthy, happy eater I mean it in the Michael Pollan sense … not in the “tofu, skinless chicken breasts, Lean Cuisine, fake cheese products, diet drinks, Snackwells, meal replacement shakes, soy milk” way!
